HLS OFFICIALLY SIGNS THE EPC CONTRACT FOR THE DAU TIENG 5 SOLAR POWER PLANT PROJECT – DT5
🤝 A new milestone in Hoang Lien Son Construction Co., Ltd.’s journey to build a green energy future.
On the afternoon of 27 August 2026 in Hanoi, the EPC Contract Signing Ceremony for the Dau Tieng 5 Solar Power Plant Project (DT5) was held with the participation of the Project Owner and the consortium of contractors comprising Hoang Lien Son Construction (HLS) – PowerChina Vietnam – Sigma.
The Dau Tieng 5 Solar Power Plant Project (DT5) is being developed in Duong Minh Chau Commune, Tay Ninh Province.
With a total project capacity of up to 450 MW and a total investment of approximately VND 7.774 trillion, DT5 is one of Vietnam’s large-scale renewable energy projects, marking another important step forward in the country’s transition toward cleaner and more sustainable energy.
🏗️ At DT5, HLS is responsible for key construction scopes under BOP Zone 0 and BOP Zone 1.
Under BOP Zone 0, HLS is responsible for the receipt, customs clearance, transportation, and insurance of all imported materials and equipment from the port, under CIF terms, to the project site, including:
- Mounting structures
- PV modules
- Inverters
- Medium Voltage Stations (MVS)
- Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
HLS is also responsible for establishing storage yards and implementing management and security systems for all imported materials and equipment. In addition, HLS will execute the construction of the project’s entire internal road network, perimeter fencing and CCTV system, 35kV overhead transmission line, MV cable system, and fiber-optic network.
At BOP Zone 1, HLS is delivering a scope with a capacity of 109.02 MW, equivalent to 135.96 MWp, comprising 186,122 PV modules, 10 MVS stations from MVS 32 to MVS 41, 273 inverters, together with the associated technical infrastructure systems.
From the very early stages of implementation, HLS has proactively mobilized its engineering team, workforce, equipment, and necessary resources to the project site, ensuring readiness for construction with the commitment to:

🤝 The signing ceremony not only marks the formalization of cooperation among the parties, but also demonstrates the shared determination of the Project Owner and the contractor consortium to leverage the capabilities, experience, and strengths of each member to deliver DT5 on schedule and to the required quality and safety standards.
For HLS, every signature on the contract represents more than a commitment to schedule and quality. It also reflects our responsibility to turn plans and engineering drawings into a tangible clean-energy project on the ground.
